What is Cialis?Cialis, nicknamed 'the weekender', is one of three oral treatments for impotence (male erectile dysfunction) currently available by prescription in the UK. It is an almond-shaped yellow pill containing the active ingredient tadalafil which works for up to 36 hours. Is Cialis an aphrodisiac?People are often confused about what Cialis actually does. Many people think that it is an aphrodisiac and that they will get an instant and constant erection once they take it. This is not accurate - Cialis works only in response to sexual stimulation. Tadalafil works in the same way as Viagra and Levitra by blocking an enzyme called phosphodiesterase (PDE5) and thus improving blood flow in the penis. It also has the effect of “trapping” the blood in the penis helping to produce longer-lasting erections. Cialis will not leave you with an erection that won't go away once ejaculation occurs except in RARE cases, when a condition known as priapism (must be treated medically) can occur.
What makes Cialis different to Viagra and Levitra?Cialis works in the same way as Viagra and Levitra, the difference lies in the ‘window of opportunity’ the treatments allow for sexual intercourse to take place. Cialis lasts the longest of all the oral ED treatments - Once you have taken it, you will be able to achieve an erection sufficient for penetration anytime within a 36 hour time frame. Viagra lasts for approximately 4 hours and Levitra lasts for anything between 4 and 9 hours. Cialis has been designed to last for up to 36 hours which means the dose is low and gradual and may pack less of a punch than the other treatments. It varies from individual to individual. Another important distinguishing factor is the fact that the absorption of Cialis is unaffected by food or alcohol (in moderation). Many people choose Cialis because of the flexibility this time frame allows them.
When should I take it?Cialis should be taken between 30 minutes and one hour prior to sexual activity. Not only does the drug need sexual stimulation, it also needs time and the right conditions. It should not be taken more than once in any 48-hour period. Patients should start with the standard dose of 10mg. Only if this proves ineffective, should you try the stronger dose of 20mg.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't take it?Men taking medicines containing nitrates in any form should not take tadalafil as this can cause a large and sudden drop in blood pressure. long year of struggle

I bought cialis after a long year of struggle. My head was all over the place after I got separated. Had no problems to find a partner but could not deliver or sustain a full erection. Cialis is great because gives you the additional kick needed when your mind is not there. We are men, and unfortunately our brain is dictating when we can have a full erection. Another positive side is, there will be no erection unless you are sexually stimulated. Side effect is a bit of flushing and a tiny bit of headache. Other than that 4 out 5

I am actually a pharmacist and perhaps oddly I do get a bit of feedback from my patients who mostly like cialis mainly because it last so long. I do get the odd comment about side effects such as indigestion and headaches but i don't think this any different fronm the other treatments. Just my penny's worth!

didn't like it at all. decided to try it after using viagra for many years. have gone back to viagra as i found the side effects to be less. cialis was too strong and was getting unwanted erections as well as sometimes feeling nauseaous to the point where iw ould need to sit down

couldn't perform with new partner after my wife died. probably nerves and general anxiety. decided to get help and this has definitely worked. no real problems apart from feeling slightly faint from time to time but gen not a problem
headaches

good results with cialsi, feel confident again but could do without the headaches and sometimes I get a blocked nose but not sure if they are related. Write your review of Cialis
