Question: I am using Viagra on a reasonably regular basis, especially at the week-ends and was wondering if there are any long term use affects or if over use has any major problems? It has always worked very well for me but does tend to give me heartburn a bit and I was wondering if it was worth trying another impotence drug or whether they all have this side affect.I believe the Eli Lilly drug has a longer lasting effectiveness being advertised as the "week-end" pill, but the higher cost has usually put me off. Perhaps you'd let me have your comments. Also as I am now 60 years old am I eligible for any savings on the purchase price? Otherwise, I am fit and healthy and not overweight.

Answer:Once you stick to the dosing advice and don't take more than one Viagra tablet a day there shouldn't be any long term damage. However, if you are using it regularly and experiencing mild side effects, it is definitely worth considering Cialis. This 'weekend pill' has milder side effects and lasts for upto 36hours. They have also recently relased a continous lower dosing regime of the drug - 'Cialis-One-A-Day'. This new format of Cialis is identical in structure to the well known 10mg and 20mg dosages of Cialis, however, the new lower dosages of 2.5mg and 5mg are designed to be taken once daily; giving men the ability to achieve an erection at any time of the day. This works out to be the most economical of all the treatments in the long term.
