Yaz consists of 24 active pills (pink) and 4 inactive pills (white).

If you have forgotten to take an inactive pill then there is no need to worry. Take your next pill and complete you pill pack on your usual end day.

If you miss one (pink) active Yaz pill, take two pills on the day that you remember. Then continue to take the rest of the pack as normal.

If you miss two active pills in a row in Week 1 or 2, take two pills per day for two days in a row. Then take one pill per day for the rest of the pack. To avoid unwanted pregnancy you should use a barrier form of contraception for 7 days following your missed pills.

If you miss pills on a regular basis you should consider another form of contraception such as the contraceptive coil, implant, plaster or ring.
