Segurin is a monophasic combined oral contraceptive pill. In each blister pack there are 21 active pills containing ethinylestradiol 20 mcg and desogestrel 150 mcg. The UK equivalent for your brand of pill is Mercilon. Mercilon pills contain the same active ingredients, in the same dose, as your current pill and this should make the change over quite smooth.

If you are unhappy with your current pill brand you may wish to try a different one. It is not unusual for women to try a number of contraceptive pills before finding one which is well suited to them.
